Directions
For those of our US friends headed our way in the near future (Scotland, here we come!), I suggest you use Google Maps to obtain directions from San Francisco.
Line 29 is key.

Does that 31 day drive/swim time take into account any strong currents I may face while swiming across the Atlantic?

Could have saved a lot of swimming by going to Brest first. I assume they must have a beach some where around there :)
